Obviously the front of the house. Used to have a red door and a screen door that never closed. We painted the door white and put up a glass screen door. This summer we hope to rip out the bushes and attempt some type of landscaping.

Entryway. Painted the doors white. Tore out old flooring and put down new. We eventually want to replace the railing, but for now plan to paint the wood and spraypaint the wrought iron.

The fourth bedroom we deem as Pocky's room. No work has been done to it yet and it's pretty much the catch-all room right now. When we have baby #2 this will become our office. The door will be painted white, trim white, and room some color.

The third bedroom, our current office. It's been rearranged a bit since this picture and our furniture in there doesn't match. BUT, it's so much better than the original and we enjoy it!

Mika's bathroom. As you can see we really haven't done anything to it yet. We have replaced the sinks and faucets, and cleaned up. We plan on putting in a new vanity, new countertop, new floor, new mirror, and new light. If we find a good enough deal on tile, we'll also put up new tile around the tub. We hope to complete this by the time she's a teen!

Mika's room. Tore done spongebob and repainted. We now have pictures and flower/butterfly things on the walls.

Master bedroom. We tore down the chair rail. The walls were covered in terrible painted wallpaper. It took days and days to take down! Mika's crib isn't in our room anymore, and it's still in need of some pictures and such on the wall. Our grand dream for this room is mostly with the bathroom, and may involve moving that closet to the opposite wall.

Master bath. Painted the doors and trim white. New light fixture, new floor in toilet/shower area. We plan to for surely change out the medicine cabinet to a mirror, and put on a new vanity countertop. Depending on the cost, we want to take out the closet on the left, and put a door in the open area in the middle of the pic, to make it seperate from the bedroom. If this scenario takes place, the back of the left closet will be a linen closet, the wall between the shower/toilet and sink will come down, and everything will be retiled. We'd also like to put a porthole window in there too!

Upstairs hallway. Painted doors and trim white, and painted the walls.

Main floor bath. We tore out the tile and put the laminate flooring in. Repainted. We have a new sink sitting in the garage. We'd like to repaint again, and possibly a new vanity.

Dining room. New light fixture. Paint. We plan on ripping out the carpet and continuing the laminate in here sometime. I loooove this table though!

Family room. Tore out the carpet, put down laminate, and repainted the walls and baseboards. Took down shutters and put up wood blinds and curtains. Since this picture the other funiture has been moved into this room.
The curve of the carpet above was held together with duct tape. We tore down that partial wall which really opened the space up. We plan to drywall the door space to the backyard. The window in the eating space we'll open up and put in sliding or french doors to the back, where we'll build a wood deck over the patio.

Living room. Tore down wallpaper. Repainted walls and baseboards. We replaced the thermostate. In the picture below you'll the furniture switchout.

Stove area. We tore out the old range and the cabinets above. We replaced the cabinets with the ones above the fridge, so as to have the hanging microwave. We still need to put a wood piece to the right of the microwave, and put on trim for the cabinets.

Old sink, new sing. I loooove it!

The kitchen. Notice the pantry area. It originally was a pantry, but to us it was awkward counterspace. We put the pantry back in, which although was one of the more simple jobs, still took time to do all the small stuff. We ripped out the flooring. Painted all of the cabinets, inside and out. Put up covebase. Pulled up the laminate countertops and put down granite tile. Many years from now we'd like to put in different cabinets. Before then, we'd like to turn that small counter in the bottom right into a place to put bar stools. The eating space area will no longer have a table, and that counter will be the eat in area.

The backyard. Mother nature helped in this picture. :) We did replace the flower pot though. We plan on building a deck right here, and extending it somewhere near the tree. We also plan to landscape a bit and figure out a way to add privacy to that back neighbor.
We also got a great tip and scraping down popcorn ceilings to look decent, thanks to the tip of Desi from church! We also need to fix up our windows with new weatherstripping and I'd to put in a newer swamp cooler. There's probably more I can't remember. LoL So there you have it. It exhausted me to think everything that was done on our house. All I have to say is thank the Lord for Ian's parents, my mom, and Dacia for putting in soo many hours!
